The Great Science Teach Meet!
Thanks to everyone for contributing to the Teach Meet! Here's what happened
And here's the archive of the call out, so you can plan for next year ;)
Monday 6th March 2017
6:00PM – 8:00PM – Museum of Science and Industry
Building on the success of last year's event, the Great Science Share Teach Meet is an opportunity for teachers to get great ideas on how to enhance STEM learning at school. With British Science Week just around the corner, this event will help you to get inspired, as well as provide instant, hands-on and engaging ideas to enthuse young people about STEM right away.
Experience the learning opportunities available at the museum for KS2 and KS3, and meet our Explainer Team who will exclusively showcase two of our unique science shows.
We will also be showcasing the STEM Ambassador Hub Trans-Pennine, so that you understand how to best use our cohort of over 1200 STEM Ambassador volunteer role models in Greater Manchester.
Finally, we will explain what is planned in the city for this year’s Great Science Share and how you can get involved. We will have over 20 local STEM providers offering advice and support on their service and offers, and teachers themselves sharing their favourite STEM resources.
Our wonderful partners from Twinkl Educational Publishing will also be at the event, available to chat and to help you plan your resources.
All this, and free beer and pizza!
So come along and be inspired.
Please note that although this event is free you must obtain a ticket to be allowed entry on the evening. Each person will be required to bring their own individual ticket.
