OPAL Primary Education Packs: Resources to encourage communities to work on local nature projects with an aim of improving the environment.

Visit the STEM Learning website for resources produced by OPAL (Open Air Laboratories). This set of 9 curriculum-linked packs are designed for use outside in a local wildlife area, with classroom-based follow up activities. They look at identification of plants and animals in the local environment, habitats, plant life cycles, interdependence and adaptation; and they provide opportunities for observing changes over time, pattern seeking and grouping and classifying.
