Great Science Share for Schools has reached over 40 countries across the world.

With the encouragement of the UNESCO via the UNESCO STEM Alliance and the UK National Commission awarding the campaign Patronage in 2024, 2025, we are working strategically to develop international reach.

The GSSfS Global Ambassador programme provides support to:

  • Ministries of Education

  • STEM educators, specialist and support teachers working with networks of schools

  • Teachers in schools and colleges

  • Multi Academy Trusts and International schools.

If you’re working outside the UK and seeking to get engaged with the Great Science Share for Schools campaign, we are keen to hear from you. Email greatscishare@manchester.ac.uk

Working collaboratively we are interested to explore adaptations if necessary to:

  • Toolkit and enquiry resources - would any adaptations improve engagement, e.g. translating text?

  • Timeline and dates - does the timeline and celebration date work for you and your setting?

  • Careers Chats - are there people in your context and locality that can be profiled?

  • Any other ways we can support you to engage in the campaign in your context - let us know.
