The Great Science Share for Schools culminates on the 13th June 2023! The campaign team set the date (second Tuesday every June) to rally your support and action towards a day that sees science happening across the UK, and globally. It’s so special to galvanise support for science in such a large scale way.

If the date potentially is limiting for you, then don’t see it as a problem. Find a date around the time that better suits you. The most important thing is to take part! As an inclusive campaign we want as many young people and schools involved as possible.

We also recognise that the Great Science Share for Schools is an ideal way to showcase science activities taking place across the whole school year. In partnership with the British Science Association we’ve created a timeline that shows the direct connection between British Science Week and GSSfS! On top of that your pupils can also be double-certificated! You’ll receive a downloadable GSSfS annual certificate, and you can also submit their work towards a CREST Award! A really ideal way to raise the profile of the importance of science in your school community!

Take moment to review these opportunities and to make the most of funding that is available to support you giving pupils the best learning experience possible.
