Schools' Share
A day for young people to share science with new audiences!
Wednesday 5th July 2017
This year will see science shares taking place in schools across Greater Manchester as well as a central event held at the Etihad Campus in Manchester. It’s time to get creative and consider how your school can share science on the day.
#GSShare17 aims to put children at the heart of sharing their love of science learning with new audiences. For your own inspiration you may wish to watch the 2016 Great Science Share here.
This year there will also be an associated event by the British Science Association at Thorpe Park, London, with links to the CREST Award Scheme.

Sharing Nature
creating a different kind of museum of nature with the Great Science Share #GSShare17
Wellcome Collection have invited schools to celebrate our everyday relationship with the world around us. The Sharing Nature project is part of the upcoming exhibition ‘A museum of modern nature’, which features objects donated by the public. Since they want everyone to have a say about what they collect and display, they're also looking for online submissions and are working with the Great Science Share to find the best photos.
So during the weeks of 26th June to the 9th July, we are asking you to take and share your photos related to the topic of RELATIONSHIPS on social media using #SharingNature17. Don’t forget to also use #GSShare17 so that this initiative helps us make this year’s Great Science Share the biggest so far!
